IRC's Child Protection Program is currently focused on providing care through six safe places for treatment and learning, strengthening community child protection mechanisms, and parenting education. The Youth Program will continue to develop youth leadership capabilities, creating access to services at three youth centers, promoting sports and arts among youth, providing peer education, supporting youth-led businesses, and developing life skills.

Basic responsibilities:

1. The main responsibility of the program.
2. Carrying out social activities.
3. Implement psychosocial support activities in SHLS centers
4. Provide training/activities.

Other program responsibilities

1. Planning and conducting meetings, training, and awareness campaigns on the care and protection of children.
2. Guarantee the participation of the child in all phases of programming.
3. Provide guidance and support to refugee incentive staff (activists) on community mobilization and counseling for recreational activities and other child protection activities.
4. Coordinator with other sectors of the IRC and NGOs present in the camp in community mobilization, referral system, and awareness in an integrated way.
5. Preparation and sending of supervisory indicators and activity reports to the supervisor for the protection of minors
6. Prepare action plans, procurement plans, spending plans, proposals, and monthly / donor reports in cooperation with the CIPD Senior Director and/or other program staff, upon request.
7. Track and update PSS activities, parenting, and SEL sessions.

Supervision of refugees and volunteers in the host community

Prepare a staff rotation list and, if necessary, monitor staff compliance with the program goal

Oversee the care and discipline of refugee incentive staff in coordination with CishiP MeaeaeIjma.

Assist, as needed, in the implementation of activities aimed at preventing sexual abuse and exploitation of refugees by the International Rescue Committee and other humanitarian workers.
