We are looking for a CFO to join British American Tobacco {BAT}. The CFO will monitor BAT's finances, as well as perform data analysis and advise senior managers on ideas to increase profits. The role is responsible for the business and corporate planning and reporting areas of the regional finance team to deliver planned metrics for the regional group's agenda and sustainable growth by enabling resource allocation, providing financial analysis and insights, initiatives, and achieving targets. from TW Finance. What will you be responsible for?
Business:
- Support customers' overall investment, manage revenue growth, increase productivity savings, and cost-based optimization.
- Provide insightful business information and demonstrate business acumen to support TWC's strategic objectives and accelerate the growth agenda.
- Lead the development and oversee the implementation of strategic planning, decision making, and resource allocation for the Marketing Department (trade and brand) by evaluating the effectiveness/efficiency of marketing programs and touchpoints.
- Ensure efficient spending and smart cost management within the marketing team, as well as resource allocation decisions based on improved shareholder value and in line with corporate strategy.
- Ensure marketing accounting and governance procedures are in place and working effectively. Identify ways to improve the existing control environment and own business processes and changes without compromising creativity and entrepreneurship.
- Ensuring the contribution of business finance as an effective business partner in marketing. Ensure quality service/extension in all relevant work areas for all sections of the Marketing Department.
- Other assignments as needed (eg important business meetings).
Business:
- Make sure financial management reports are completed accurately.
- Feedback is the main driver of real vs real realism. Financial plan
- Performs ad hoc analysis as required by the CFO of actual and planning scenarios.
- Continuously improve working methods and aim for efficiency (simplification) and accuracy of data for reporting purposes.
- Lead internal control operations (navigation control and risk assessment).
- Review of local tax and statutory reports; Work closely with external auditors.
Basic experience, skills, and knowledge.
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or Accounting; Mastery would be an added bonus.
+5 years of experience in both commercial and corporate finance in multinational corporations.
Experience at Big Four accounting firms and FMCG preferred
communication skills. Must be proficient in written and verbal English.
Leadership capacity in team leadership.
