JOB OPPORTUNITY

The Tanzania National Roads Agency (TANROADS) on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Tanzania entered into a contract for the continuous upgrade of Nduta Jet – Kibondo Town – Kibondo – Jet (25.9 km) to Bitumen Standard.

The TANROADS Regional Manager's Office - Kigoma, on behalf of the Executive Director, TANROADS, intends to recruit qualified and competent staff to fill the following vacant position on specific duty short-term contracts within the Region.

Only selected applicants will be notified to attend the interview at their own expense in Kigoma City.

POSITION TITLE: ASSISTANT MATERIALS LABORATORY TECHNICIAN (1 POSITION)

Education/Professional Qualifications:-

You must have a Form Four Certificate or any commercial test certificate in civil engineering or equivalent from any recognized institution/college of learning.

Computer literate.

WORK EXPERIENCE

At least 3 years of cumulative experience related to road/bridge works.

Served as an Assistant Materials Laboratory Technician or equivalent capacity on at least two (2) highway construction projects of similar magnitude and complexity.

Self-motivated, able to work under pressure outside of working hours with minimal supervision.

Fluency in English and Swahili.

You must be a citizen of Tanzania.

Age limit: 25 years and over.
