The Tanzania National Road Agency (TANROADS) on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Tanzania has entered into a contract for the continuous upgrade of Nduta Jet - Kibondo Town - Kibondo - Jet (25.9 km) to the bitumen standard.

The Office of the Regional Director of TANROADS - Kigoma, on behalf of the Executive Director, TANROADS, intends to recruit qualified and qualified personnel to fill the following vacancy on short-term specific assignment contracts within the region.

Only selected applicants will be notified to attend the interview at their own expense in Kigoma City.

Position Title: Roads Engineer (one position)

Academic/Professional Qualifications:-

You must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Highway Engineering or equivalent from any recognized higher education institution/college;

You must be registered with the ERB as a Professional Engineer;

Postgraduate degree in Highway Engineering and contract administration experience under the terms of the FIDIC/PPRA contract will be an added advantage;

You must have computer skills in Microsoft, Word, Excel and Auto Card.

work experience

You must have at least seven (7) years of cumulative experience in highway design/construction supervision.

He has served in the same capacity on no less than two (2) highway construction projects of the same size and complexity during the past seven (7) years as a Civil Engineer.

It will include road surveying, paving structure construction, quantity measurement and site operation management.

Self-motivated, able to work under pressure outside working hours with minimal supervision.

Fluency in English and Swahili.

Age limit 35 years and over.
